5 Days lake Mburo and Bwindi gorilla safari
Engage in a 5 Days lake Mburo and Bwindi gorilla safari to Lake Mburo national park and to Bwindi forest national park. The safari is quit an amazing one, as it entails the view of the wildlife at Lake Mburo and later the gorilla tracking experience Uganda’s top tour activity.
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
You will be picked from your hotel by our company representative, and transfer to lake Mburo National park, you may make a few stop overs at Mpabire a place where all types of local drums are made, another stop over at the equator in Kayabwe, where you will perform a water can experiment to determine the northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere. Later proceed to Lake Mburo arriving in the afternoon. Later you can head for an afternoon game drive in the park to view wildlife. Later drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise.
Early in the morning you enter the park in a game drive, in search for wildlife a view possible more game as compared to the previous evening. You will be able to see giraffes, zebras, water bucks, topis, elands, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs, olive baboons alongside a wide range of birds. Later exit the game drive and head for later breakfast, relaxation and lunch. After lunch, you will move for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo with sightings of Hippos, crocodiles alongside birds such as the African fish eagles. Later depart boat cruise and head to your lodge for diner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi forest national park.
In the morning, you will be picked by your guide and transfer to Bwindi forest national park, situated in south western Uganda. The travel time is approximately 5 hours. Arrive in Kabale and head to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation and later drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: gorilla tracking and community walk.
In the morning, assemble at the park headquarters and be briefed on the gorilla trekking rules, later start the hike into the jungles with up down movements of the forest terrain , you will meet several bird species in the jungle. The gorilla trekking exercise can take 50 minutes to 6 hours. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will be filled with excitement forgetting all the hustle you went through to get to them. Spend a maximum of an hour with them taking photos and interacting with them. Head back to the lodge for a relaxation and later you will embark on a community walk around the park visiting the locals and interacting with them.
Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala and to Entebbe.
In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala on the scenic drive. You will arrive in late afternoon in time for flight back home. The safari includes.
