Kasese, aan de voet van de Mountains of the Moon. Op 500m vanaf Nationaal parc, Rwenzori mountains ligt Kasese, waar je alles kunt vinden wat je nodig hebt. Fantastische uitvalsbasis voor de mooiste safari’s, maar ook hiken in de omgeving is echt de moeite waard. Wild Homeland Safaris heeft mijn verblijf onvergetelijk gemaakt. Zij organiseren goede overnachtingen, prima restaurants en prachtige safari-trips naar verschillende parken. Gorilla safaris, maar ook de big five in het vlakbij gelegen Queen Elizabeth park. Kan niet wachten om nog eens terug te gaan naar deze parel van Uganda

We had a great day at the edge of Rwenzori National Park with Wild Homeland Safaris! The hike was very enjoyable and interactive, thanks to a guide who knew the region and the surrounding flora perfectly. We were fortunate to spot the famous three-horned chameleons, thanks to our guide, and also got to discover the coffee and vanilla plantations in the area. An enriching experience that I highly recommend!
