3 national parks challenge to the Rwenzori

Day 1. Rwenzori Mountains N.P

You will be picked from your booked hotel/cottages or campsite in the foothills of Rwenzori after your morning  breakfast up to Mihunga gate where you will receive initial briefing  by your guide(s).

Enter Rwenzori mountains national park early in the morning and head to Nyabitaba first camp in the Rwenzoris through Nyakalengija route,have a short rest with with some eats and head to lake Mahoma the deepest lake in the Rwenzoris through alpins and heather forest.

On your way you will enjoy good sightings of the Rwenzori natural vegetations,different birds like the Rwenzori turaco,the famous one/two or three horned chameleon,bluenor black & white colobus monkeys, view the portal peaks and also oversee Mt stanley if the weather is bright.

You will need to enjoy your one day Rwenzori nature walk with Mahoma lake the deepest lake and most loved in the Rwenzoris and take good photos at the lake,enjoy the fresh air at the lake,have enough relaxation there and if you are good at swimming,you can though not always recommended.

Then descend back through alpine and heather forest to bypass Nyabitaba camp viewing mubuku river valley and enjoy the scenic views of Rwenzori foothills up to Ruboni village,the interesting way of living of the people of the Rwenzori,plantations and their culture.Note..this trek takes about 6-7 hours and you may opt to sleep at your accommodation in the foothills or transfer to Fort Portal tourism city for a night as you prepare for your next journey next morning.


Day 2. Semuliki National Park 

You will be picked by your safari guide early in the morning from your hotel/cottage or campsite. Transfer to Semuliki National park for a nature walk to see different birds and mammals like the blue monkey and so many others.In your journey to this reserve area through Bundibugyo-Ntoroko road,you shall stop half way at a famous scenery point to view fantastic hills & valleys bypassed from & to Fort Portal/Bundibugyo to take good photos and enioy fresh air around.

After a nature walk,you will transfer to the Batwa people in this park to go and enjoy the Batwa experience,enjoy their way of living,their marriage life,interact with them and enjoy their traditional dance.


Then transfer to sempaya hot springs for a scenic view to the male and female hot springs with temperatures of 95°c, boil some eggs or bananas,take good photos and videos then lastly transfer to Mahoma falls for a nature experience.And of course end your trip with an interesting  tour in the fort portal tourism city back to your hotel in the only tourism city we have in Uganda as you prepare for the next interesting one!


Day 3. Queen Elizabeth National Park 

Transfer from your hotel after morning breakfast and be picked by your safari guide. Head to queen Elizabeth  National park for morning game drive. On your morning  game drive you anticipate to see different mammals like antelopes,elephants,buffaloes etc.

After a morning game drive, your guide will drive you to kyambura gorge to go and track chimpanzees for your lifetime memory.This experience takes about 2-3 hours.

After chimpanzee tracking, your drive will again drive you for an evening boat cruise on Kazinga channel as you enjoy a boat ride on this famous channel.

And of course end your trip here where you will have an experience with viewing and experiencing different animals like hippos, elephants, crocodiles,birds and many more both in/on water and lake shores.

You will therefore  be picked by your safari guide to your hotel or you may wish to travel back home and meet your flights or your families but having a rest at your hotel sounds nice before heading home.
